Which beaches are the most dangerous in California?

I’ve wondered for a long time which beaches in California are the most deadly

After seeing that the majority of shark encounters in California happen in the southern part, it makes sense to me that a beach in San Diego would be the deadliest. With its’ long summers, warm waters, beautiful picturesque beaches, and large population San Diego checks all the boxes as a location for a high frequency of shark encounters.

It’s also interesting to note that 7 of the 12 beaches listed in this plot are in Northern California.
